Distribution companies A film distribution company is responsible for the marketing and distribution of your films to the public. Films can be distributed through theatrical, video on demand (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.), DVD, and new media. Without distribution, your film will be a flop because no one will know about it. Now I will talk about the distribution company I think is best for my film, if it was a real movie I was going to put out in the industry.  

 


Paramount Pictures: 

I believe that Paramount Pictures will be the best distributor for my company. This company is a part of the big 6 so whatever is released will already have people who would like to watch it. Due to it being a big company I feel that when distributed more people are likely to give the movie a chance and see what t's about. Paramount pictures are also known to release many mystery films, in fact, there is one movie released that we (my group) found was remarkably like our film. This film is called Shutter Island and it has a lot of the same aspects as our movie. Also, as a side note, I believe my movie would be nontheoretical. Paramount has a steaming service that will allow people to watch the movie in the comfort of their own home and it also saves the hassle of worrying that tickets in theaters may sell out. All these factors are why I would choose paramount pictures as the distributor of my film.

 Hi guys. today's post will be short as it will be talking about the sound in our film. I'm sorry but today's intro is a little shorter than usual because I want to get straight into it.  To keep it short our opening scene only has 3 sounds. 2 audios that will set the tone and the other being a camera taking a picture sound to make sure the viewers understand that a picture is being taken. Look, Feel, Sound

  Hi guys, today's post will talk about how we want our film to come off as. How it will feel, sound, look, etc. I will also talk about how we will achieve this. There is a lot to be talked about so let's jump right into it.     Looks:   Our goal is to make our film look suspenseful, exciting, and mysterious. Our genre is mystery/thriller, so this was a bit obvious. We plan to achieve this we filmed. What I mean by this is that one of the first scenes shows a dead body. We want the viewers to think about how that person does and to get interested in knowing more about what happened. Then we show a flashback to explain what has happened. With the I see your text at the end we hope the viewers will become even more excited knowing the true story behind everything. Mise- en -scene helps with this because of the outfit she is wearing. The viewers might wonder what she did to die like that.     Feel:   We want the viewers to feel excited and get on the edge of their seats wonder
